MEC TOUR

The Mississippi Economic Council, in partnership with its network of local, regional, and other chambers of commerce, will host a series of meetings throughout Mississippi. The WorkFuture 2025 Tour will provide an opportunity for greater collaboration by bringing together leaders in business, economic development, workforce, education, housing, and other community representatives from across the state. Participants will hear directly from Scott Waller on MEC’s 2025 Legislative Priorities, and also from representatives and subject matter experts on the topics below:

• Healthcare
• Education K-12 and Post Secondary
• Student Financial Aid
• Workforce Funding

The results of the individual surveys will be reviewed at the corresponding tour stop. A compilation of all surveys will be available at MEC’s Annual Meeting on April 17, 2025.
