Sharendra Latasha Evans-McClendon is the owner of Worksmart LLC, a minority/veteran/woman owned training company which trains companies on Safety, Leadership, and other work ethics which promotes value to a company’s employees. She is also co-owner and serves as Director of Workplace, which is a recruitment and staffing company. Sharendra has been an honored member of the 186th Civil Engineering Squadron of the Mississippi Air National Guard for thirteen years. Sharendra received an AA in Construction Management, a BS in Biology, and a Masters in Occupational Health and Safety. She is currently pursuing her PH. D in Public Health. Her love of Safety inspired her to become an Authorized OSHA instructor. Sharendra is also a co-founder of Learning Zone which is a 501c3, which main focus is to provide training and exposure to “skills trades” for under privileged students and adults to receive a substantial income and job placement. Sharendra’s commitment and dedication to community service motivated her to become an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Sharendra currently resides in Brandon, MS and is the proud mother of three children, Kardarius, Shamyia and Tnyah.
