Family businesses are a very important part of Mississippi’s economy. The University of Mississippi will host “It’s All Relative,” the Ole Miss Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Family Business Symposium is on November 2-3 in Oxford. The conference is designed to education family businesses on future needs they may have to be a multi-generational family business.
The UM CIE Family Business Symposium aspires to be an open forum where leaders, family members, and employees from family businesses from a variety of industries can share their concerns and questions to learn best practices from knowledge leaders, enabling them to grow and to continue their businesses across generations.
Among the speakers at the symposium are Bill Lampton, director of Ergon Inc., and Gerard Gibert, founder & CEO Venture Technologies, and host of MidDays with Gerard on Supertalk MS.
