Douglas Cunningham is a native son of Mississippi, born in Aberdeen, raised in Prairie. He currently resides in Gautier with his wife and son. He is a nineteen year shipbuilder, who began his career within the Industrial Engineering Department of Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula, later serving four years as a Ship Planning Manager, within Program Planning, before taking on his current role as the director of both organizations, Director of Production Control & Program Planning. He also currently serves as Secretary for the Xi Zeta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
Douglas holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Mississippi State University, as well as a master’s degree in Logistics, Trade, & Transportation from The University of Southern Mississippi, and is a graduate of the Gulf Coast Business Council’s Masters Class-2017.
