Austin Stewart

Austin is an attorney with Adams and Reese LLP in Ridgeland, Mississippi, where he advises clients on a variety of complex matters, including product liability litigation, insurance, mass tort litigation, commercial litigation and transactions. Austin serves as a key part of the national trial counsel team for an industry-leading product manufacturing company. Moreover, Austin provides counsel to business clients, and advises both individuals and production entities in the television industry. Austin received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Mississippi College, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law.

Austin is actively involved in various community and professional organizations. For the last decade, Austin has volunteered his time to the programs of the Mississippi Bar Association, particularly the High School Mock Trial Competition, where he has served as an attorney coach, judge, and Chairman of the High School Mock Trial committee. Austin has also dedicated his efforts to legal education opportunities for students and young lawyers as Chairman of the Seminars and Lawyer in Every Classroom committees of the Young Lawyers Division. Austin also participated in the Mississippi Bar’s Leadership Forum – Class of 2017. Austin is a founding member of the Madison County Young Professional (MCYP) Steering Committee, a division of the Madison County Business League and Foundation. Austin served two terms as the MCYP Philanthropy Chairman – leading the group in fundraising and service opportunities in Madison County – and was recently elected to serve as the MCYP Vice Chairman for 2018-2019. Austin has been recognized by Mid-South Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star,” and in 2017, Austin was recognized by the Mississippi Bar as the Outstanding Young Lawyer of Mississippi for his service to the profession, community and state.

Austin resides in Madison, Mississippi with his wife, Katie, and their three children, Mae, Cal, and Luke. Austin enjoys grilling, spending time with friends and family, coaching youth sports, golf, and watching Ole Miss athletics.
