Adult Education at the Mississippi Community College Board: The Office of Adult Education (OAE) is strategically shaping its plan to administer the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) of 2014 – Title II Adult Education and Family Literacy Act (AEFLA). This plan positions the OAE as the pivotal agency responsible for overseeing the allocation of funds to eligible providers and ensuring program and performance oversight. The overarching objective is to propel adult education and literacy services throughout the state, aligning with the goals outlined in the State Plan. The following questions will provide Adult Education with better insight on how to use funding to achieve their objectives.
