  PASCAGOULA, Miss., Oct. 23, 2025 — HII’s Ingalls Shipbuilding authenticated the keel today of Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer Thad Cochran (DDG 135). The ship honors Thad Cochran, a Navy veteran and former U.S. senator who represented Mississippi from 1978 to 2018. TEC Advances High-Speed Fiber Infrastructure Across Jasper County

Bay Springs, Mississippi – TEC, a leading provider of rural broadband services, has begun construction on a project spanning approximately 90 miles, expanding high-speed broadband access to more than 700 households and businesses.
