Danielle Williams, IOM serves as Director of Administration for the Mississippi Economic Council.
Williams began as an executive assistant at MEC in 2014, working her way from that position into her current role. Williams is now responsible for human resources and financial processes for MEC’s multi-million dollar operating budget, and manages a membership database of over 10,000 business and community leaders from across Mississippi.
Williams holds a master’s degree in leadership from Belhaven University in Jackson, MS. She completed Institute for Organization Management, an intensive nonprofit leadership training program conducted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and held at the University of Georgia in Athens, Ga. Williams was recognized in 2018 as Top 50 under 40 by the Mississippi Business Journal.
She serves as a member of the Capitol Area Human Resources Association (CAHRA) and SHRM and is a regular volunteer at the Salvation Army in Jackson. Williams is also a member of the Junior League of Jackson and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
Prior to joining MEC, Williams worked for over two years in the financial and retail management realms through employment with Saks Fifth Avenue and ADP.
Williams and her husband Cortné live in Brandon with their children, Cortné II and Chloé. They are active members at Word of Life Church.
