Nearly 200 leaders from across Mississippi attended the Untapped Potential: Economic Impact of Mississippi ChildCare virtual summit on September 29.
Quality childcare has never been more critical than it is today in Mississippi. As the state looks to recover from the impact of COVID-19, accessibility to quality, early education and childcare will play a significant role for our state’s employers and employees.
The Mississippi Economic Council, along with the Children’s Foundation of Mississippi, hosted the virtual summit to explore the importance of quality early learning and care. The summit was made possible through a grant from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation.
