As reported by The Clarion-Ledger, Amazon is preparing to construct another Mississippi facility in Madison County.
According to the report, Amazon recently purchased 69.02 acres of land in an area zoned for industrial. This development marks the fourth investment by the company in Mississippi in just over two years.
Other details, including Amazon's plans for the land, are currently unavailable.
The purchase site sits on 1,027 acres of area zoned for industrial activity in the "Madison County Mega Site". The site is off Nissan Parkway nearly a mile to the west of Interstate 55.
