MEC's Student-Teacher-Achievement Recognition (STAR) Program has been around for 55 years, and is proud to honor the scholastic achievements of Mississippi's outstanding high school students and teachers each year. Over 20,000 scholars and leading teachers have qualified for recognition in the STAR program since it's inception.
