Tom Walker is an attorney and partner on Jones Walker LLP’s banking and finance team. He focuses his practice primarily on commercial and regulatory matters for banks.
Tom has served as chairman of the Attorneys Committee of the Mississippi Bankers Association and treasurer of the Mississippi Young Bankers during his brief stint in banking. Tom is also a CPA and serves on the board and as secretary for the MSCPA.
Prior to his legal career, Tom received his juris doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law and earned his Masters of Public Accountancy and Bachelors of Accountancy from Mississippi State University. He completed his Certificate in Banking from Louisiana State University’s Graduate School of Banking.
Tom is an active member of First Baptist Church Jackson. His hobbies include golfing, hunting, and coaching his son’s baseball team. He, his wife Crissie, and their two boys live in Jackson, Mississippi.
