Richie Moore

Richie Moore is a native of Benton, MS and graduated from Yazoo County High School in 2003. He started his career in the utility industry in 2004 with Yazoo Valley Electric Power Association as a groundman. In 2008, he went to work for Entergy MS as an apprentice lineman. He completed the apprentice program in 2011 and became a journeyman lineman. While being a journeyman lineman, Richie attended Mississippi College and received a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. During his career at Entergy Richie transitioned into professional/leadership roles in the Engineering/Design department, Distribution Operations Center, and previous role as Utility Performance Manager. In March of 2018, Richie accepted the opportunity to become General Manager at Public Service Commission of Yazoo City and completed his MBA from Mississippi College in May. Richie has a wife, Amy Moore, and 2 kids Julian and Emily. He is a member of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church.
