Matthew Grice

Matthew Grice is Mississippi Power’s Finance Director and Assistant Treasurer, where he oversees the financial planning and budgeting departments, leads the company’s overall finance activities and financial strategy development and directs the treasury function, including enterprise risk management.
He joined Mississippi Power in 2004 after working for a Big Four accounting firm in Washington, D.C. He started his career as a financial analyst and has held positions of increasing responsibility in finance and accounting.
Grice is a recognized business and community leader and has been named a Top Ten Business Leader Under 40 and is a graduate of Leadership Gulf Coast. He has served as president of the boards of the Gulfport Chamber of Commerce and Lynn Meadows Discovery Center.
Grice holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Master of Accounting from the University of North Carolina and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. He resides in Gulfport with his wife, Susan, and their three children.
