Matt Mayo serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer, Pine Belt Region. In this role, he is responsible for the bank’s $550 million loan portfolio in the Hattiesburg, Laurel, and Meridian markets. Additionally, Matt continues to manage a loan portfolio of almost $40 million in Hattiesburg.
Matt is a graduate of the University of South Alabama (1998) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Depository Institution Management and Samford University (2001) with a Master of Business Administration. He also completed the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University (2006).
Matt has served in numerous community organizations. He is presently involved in the Oak Grove Warrior Club and Dubard School for Language Disorder at USM. He is a member of Temple Baptist Church.
He is married to Rachael Bertucci of Biloxi, and they are the proud parents of Allison (17), Anna Ryan (15) and Landon (11).
