Mathew Davidson has over 15 years of experience in the utility industry with Atmos Energy. Mathew began his career with Atmos Energy Marketing in New Orleans in 2004 where he led teams responsible for critical gas supply functions including procurement, forecasting, contract negotiation, and financial hedging. Currently Mathew is the Vice President Rates and Regulatory Affairs, responsible for communicating the Mississippi Division’s position on business and regulatory matters to various governmental authorities primarily the Mississippi Public Service Commission. Mathew joined the Mississippi division in 2018 as the Vice President of Marketing, leading the sales group and working with local and state economic developers. He is a graduate of Tulane University with a Master’s in Business Administration and the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. Mathew and his wife, Aimee, live in Madison and have three children – Brayden, Brooks, and Emma Kate.
