Dr. Pamela Gary

Pamela Gary, PhD is entering her eighth year as Chief Executive Officer at Central Mississippi, Incorporated. Dr. Gary completed her undergraduate degree at Jackson State University in Business Management and her Masters at Delta State University in Community Development. She received her doctoral degree in Higher Education from Jackson State University in 2018. Dr. Gary has over 30 years of leadership experience in both the private and public sector. Throughout her career, Dr. Gary has developed, written or edited grant funds in the amount of $12 million. She is a certified economic developer and grants specialist. She has taught on the international spectrum at Amur State University in Russia and worked with women’s groups in Luanda, Angola advising them of their civic rights. She currently oversees seven counties in the Mississippi Delta assisting the elderly, disabled, and the disenfranchised in meeting their basic needs and improving their quality of life.
