Leadership Mississippi Holds First Session of 2016
The Leadership Mississippi Class of 2016 recently held its first session in Jackson, focusing on state government.
After the initial registraiton, the 53-member class heard from political analysts Andy Taggart and Jere Nash, participated in a political election exercise with Tyson Elbert from the John C. Stennis Institute of Government, and held an Alumni Reception at Duling Hall in downtown Jackson.
On the second day of the opening session, the class participated in a DiSC Behavioral Profile Analysis activity before hearing from Supreme Court Justice James Maxwell and touring the State Capitol.
The next session for the Class of 2016 will be held on April 7 & 8 in DeSoto County.
