Leadership Mississippi Class of 2014 Learns Infrastructure in Corinth
The Leadership Mississippi Class of 2014 toured Corinth during the session on infrastructure.The Leadership Mississippi Class of 2014 held its second session on infrastructure this week on Thursday, March 6 and Friday, March 7 in Corinth.
As part of the session, the Class of 2014 toured the Clifford G. Worsham Water Treatment Facility in Corinth, learning about the facility’s development and the water treatment process. After a delicious lunch at the Chop House Shiloh Ridge, the Class visited the Corinth Civil War Interpretive Museum, which exhibits interactive displays and multimedia presentations on the Battle of Shiloh and the Siege and Battle of Corinth.

Afterwards, the Class toured the Corinth Contraband Camp and Historic Downtown Corinth before returning to the Civil War Interpretive Museum for the Leadership Mississippi Alumni Reception, attended by numerous alumni from around Northeast Mississippi.
Kenneth Williams (pictured left), a member of the inaugural Leadership Mississippi Class of 1974-1975, was on hand at the Alumni Reception to give strong advice to current class members. Williams is the President of Corinth Coca-Cola Bottling Works, Inc.
On Friday, the Class heard from a riveting panel regarding “Infrastructure in Action” featuring local experts from the Corinth area and also listened to an inspirational message on leadership from Dr. Sam Jones.
The next session of Leadership Mississippi will be held on the Mississippi Gulf Coast on June 12 & 13.
