At MEC’s Capital Day, business and community leaders from across Mississippi will have an opportunity to meet one-on-one with Legislators. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Jackson Marriott, and kick off for Capital Day will be at 9:00 a.m. Attendees will hear from Governor Bryant (via video), Lt. Governor Tate Reeves, Speaker Philip Gunn & key legislative leaders and recieve updates on MEC’s legislative agenda. The event will conclude with a State Officials Reception beginning at 11:30.
Attendees of MEC’s Capital Day can park for free at the Jackson Marriott parking garage, located at 200 East Amite Street in Jackson. Transportation to and from the State Capitol will be provided by MEC.
